Has anyone else had this problem?

Ever since I purchased the new kits and downloaded the recent update my game is off.

i play as a sim and the interactions take forever to complete. Example: I made my sim use the toilet and the green bar went all the way around the toilet icon in the bottom left corner but I noticed that her needs bar would go green then drop again then fill up again.

When I went to work with my sim a similar thing happened. I would make her do a work task and even though it was complete it didn’t check it off on her tasks. It would only complete if I debugged her. Even debugging her or the object eventually stopped working.
has anyone had a similar problem and if sohow can I fix it?

@jt213 This sounds like coincidence, not related to the Kits. Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please start at Broken/Updated Mods and the previous Broken/Updated Mods list. If you still have issues after removing and replacing mods (don't forget to delete localthumbcache), see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.) Sometimes just having cleaned out that cache is all you needed.

I have not had that, nor seen a reference to it in a quick look.
Sounds like a bad mod got you.
In this case I would:
Delete the thumb cache and then run EA APP Repair.
If no help you need to remove your mods folder ( I use drag to desktop method )
Drag the tray to desktop
Drag saves to desktop
Delete the thumbcache again
EA APP Repair and
Create a test sim on new game. If all is well then:
Check the mods by 50 / 50
Add the try / saves back once you have a stable game.
Sim away!

You can also avoid dragging by:
~Close the game
Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
Repair the game
Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
Start a new save game
Check if you still have the error
Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back. ~crinrict quote
