Have you/would you disable emotional deaths with MCCC?

I have them disabled, mainly because of the hysterical one. In my experience it's way too easy to have your sim die of laughter. They just have to be in a good mood and a few jokes later I would promptly have to send them to the nearest mirror to calm themselves down.
Besides that I'm overly attatched to my sims and don't want them to die ever :D
