Help, how is the "feed a bite" interaction supposed to work?

It's supposed to be a romantic interaction. I can choose it from the pie menu, it will stay queued but will never happen and then the sim will already finish their meal. How can I make it work? I'...

I should have mentioned that while your Sims are on a date, sitting side-by-side, with a plate of food, before they start eating, pause it and cancel the eating interaction. Now you can select the "Feed a Bite" interaction and watch it play out. I've added a video.

@mzda_grl ahh the cancelling might actually be crucial! I have to test this if I get it to work in my game... Also I wish this was possible otherwise than just during dates. I don't see why it couldn't be an option with romantically involved partners as I do it all the time with my spouse at home.

    You're right in that the cancelling action does seem to be necessary, otherwise the sim will eat their whole plate of food before feeding the other sim a bite. Not sure if it was intended to be that way, but at least we figured it out.
