HELP! All my saves vanish from my game. Long story short, I bulldozed all the lots and going to be creating many versions of saves. I went into saves, changed the name of the save and now they won't show up in my game which yes is modded. The saves are in the right places in documents EA then sims 4 and saves but the saves aren't working. I've tried creating a new game and playing it for a while and my saves still didn't appear. Help?
@TheBoredSimmer The name of a save needs to have exactly the right format, or the game won't read it. That format is Slot_ followed by an eight-digit hexidecimal (base-16) number and with a .save extension. For example:
Slot_00000002.save
Slot_0000000a.save
Slot_00000010.save
So please double-check the save names and make sure none have extra characters, letters that don't belong, etc.
If this isn't the issue, please post a screenshot of the folder that contains your saves. I'd like to see the save files themselves. Include the address bar, above the list of files, in the screenshot.
