hi, so

Hi, so recently I've had problems with the new rent pack, and going to Tartosa. So for the problems about the new pack, I made a new house for my save. At first, I wanted my sims to rent out a room to my sims mom, to be there when she dies. Except, after I was done with my house and I had made the delimitations with the pack, so I tried to change it back to a normal residential, but it did not work. After a while of trying multiple ways to fix that, I gave up. I then uploaded the house to my gallery, to transfer it in another lot. It worked in Tartosa. After putting my house, I went back to managing worlds, and the loading screen actually took about 30 minutes, so I stopped the game. I tried to come back to the world after, and it was white, I couldn't do anything. I after learned that it was because of my mods, to i charged them back and everything. After that I tried to get back into my save, and it said none of my packs were downloaded. I charged the game anyway and none of my packs were there! Surprise! I don't really know why I did that but it was dumb because I went back into the game after closing it, and none of the houses that were in my worlds not base game were gone, as well as a restaurant that I uploaded in oasis springs. I had my matriarch's house in oasis springs, but everything was still in her house as normal, if I recall correctly. All of my sims's families still there, but not their houses. I hadn't uploaded any of my houses in the gallery so i can't access them from there, except the one i had a problem with. Please help me, I am desesperate to find their Houses again.

    @emmanuelle33333Whoo... that is quite a mess of issues.
    I hope I can help some.
    First, to solve the issue of the rental properties. (If I understand the problem correctly )
    Take all the mods / saves / tray files out to your desktop.
    Delete the cache ( thumbcache )
    Repair game
    Start a fresh game just long enough to create a sim, move them in somewhere and save as a new save. FOR YOUR SANITY make sure the fame opt in is unchecked in the menu game packs options to get things going.
    NOW... add your mods back in 50/50 style ( or, just small doses, starting with ones that you know have no affect on lot types ) As long as everything is working as you load them and test by going in game ( including the ability to label as for rental and not for rental lots, your fine )
    Now.. add the old trays back and your old saves.
    You should be able to load the save ( any save ) and have it working again. If you have a save from an earlier time of the family you specifically want, load it even. All sims and lots will be saved regardless of sim loaded, tho' it could be old.
    Once you know they are working, all saves should be good. You can try resave a save in the menu, and see if that helps.
    That lag on loading screen often means the most recent save was corrupted. So you should do all the above and try to load a slightly older save, if your still getting massive load times either one of your tray homes is FUBAR, or a mod is.
    Definently check your mods for age. Anything younger than December 2023 could be a suspect. ( I have many from before, but most core mods were ruined in December and need an update, most have been updated )
