High School pack doesn't work with CC or in general?

Hi!

My sims has quitted working after I installed the new High School pack.

It doesn't work to open the new world in "manage worlds" or even to go there.

It has also caused other problems in the game such as that it doesn't work to cook, eat, take a shower and other things.

Now it's even lagging to go somewhere, and the new Friend app in the simmers' phones doesn't work to click on at all.

Since I have teenagers in my game, I really want this to work.

I've tried to understand what's causing the errors through forums, but can't get it. 

Is it only because of all CC and mods I have in my game?

It seems like the most recent updates still haven't solved my problems.

Can anyone please help me with this?

    @cellescrib 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    @jpkarlsen Thank you so much! Now it works with opening the city on the map. But, it still doesn't work to go there, and my teenagers don't get "High school" as an option in the pie menu. Other things as eating doesn't work either, and just keeps restarts my sim... Do you know how to solve it?

    I downloaded a CC manager program to get rid of duplicates and other mods I've got..
