Horse Ranch CAS items make sim disappear

I recently downloaded the horse expansion and some clothing and hair assets make the dime completely disappear or turn back and purple, it’s a similar story with the build mode items too, the basic shape will be there but no detail, in a gradient, with a question mark in the middle. I’m new to the forums and some of the lingo on here so this may have been answered but is there a way to fix this or is this just a me problem?
