Hosptal lot is lost?

I haven't played in the hospital lot at all in the save that I'm currently playing in, and because I'm playing the not so berry challenge generation plum I have to play with the doctors career, which basically means that the hospital lot is essential for my   and story telling. But whenever i try to load into the lot, all of the patients and staff is standing together because the entire lot was completely empty (except for literally a pile of trash and a puddle). I then tried to replace the lot with another hospital from the gallery, a build that just require base game and get to work, but it didn't even load and looked unchanged. I tried another build, again with only base game and get to work, and this time the build loaded and placed but 54 items were missing. All of the hospital items. I think the assigned lot type is a part of the problem, and I thought you couldn't change it, but it as of right now says its a generic lot type, and I cannot change it back to the original hospital lot type. What the heck happened and how do fix it? I literally can't play with my legacy until i figure this out so I appreciate all the feedback and advice I can get!!
