@guycuk Something very similar happened to me as well. I was playing my game and saw a post about the emergency patch (1.58.69.1010 Patch 25Nov2019). I saved and exited my game and went to Origin to install the patch. First thing I noticed was to Grim's Guitar icon looked like it was not recognized as being owned. I was puzzled but started a new save. I pulled one of my Sims from the gallery. There were notices that he had a trait and an aspiration that were "part of content you do not currently own". Like you I own all the things and was puzzled. (They were from Jungle Adventures and StrangerVille). I do not have custom content or mods and never have so that was not an issue.
What did I do?
Exited without saving.
Exited/shut down Origin. (May not be important but I do it all the time to keep it from running in the background.)
Went to the Sims folder in documents and moved saves, tray, screenshots and options folders/files to my desktop.
Deleted everything else in the folder for a fresh start.
Repaired the game in Origin and started the game to allow new folders/files to generate.
That fixed the issue 100% with no other problems.
I put copies of saves, tray, and options folders/files back in and was all set to play.
You may not want to go that extreme but all the things I deleted are not necessities since the game makes new ones.
With mods/cc at least try removing (not disabling) mods / cc and delete the localthumbcache.package and any other cache files.
Sounds like you may have already tried some of these steps including repairing the game.
You may have to run thru the extra step of clearing the caches in the Origin files.
This will not delete your games.

Please update if any of these solutions work or if additional help is needed.
Addendum:
Mods and custom content (CC) can be fun to use but unfortunately they cause unexpected results.
They need to be updated by the creators to continue to play nice with the game.
Rather than adding back what you have it may be best to get fresh copies.
@EuphorialQueen I have now tried this step >> https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/ << and seems to have currently resolved my Issue for now, just repairing game seemed to resolve it previously, until recently, so will report back if occurs again, since first time using this method, we will see if fully resolved after logging out again, thanks for your Reply/response
Update: But this seems to have removed all my unlocked items i ever had, like the Beret is the first i noticed missing in CAS along with full outfits and other clothing stuff :/ guess my game is just broken, i can still get access to the beret when i place my previous created household which has it but if i create a new game/household it is not available to me, is this normal?
Update: since deleting the cache as EuphorialQueen mentioned to do I noticed nany items like the beret is missing when creating new household plus other outfits that were unlocked through careers, unsure if was missing before due to seeing your message after deleting the ea cache but now i see missing items in CAS but think most/possibly all were unlocks

@guycuk
Happy to hear you have at least partial success.
I am guessing the unlocks may have been part of the game content that was not recognized.
Did you happen to save after the error message?
Do you have a backup save?

Never used CC or mods.- ISimSomedays6 years agoNew Traveler@EuphorialQueen @EuphorialQueenforce of habit i always click save and exit button, but houses i had stored in my library and can replace by deleting and importing no probs if items vanish or replaced, but clothing on the otherhand is a different matter so will see if i have a backup save, never manually made any so hope game auto does this, if not, well, ce la vie
Wish this Info was made clear to Me a few years ago >> "A backup is important before the installation of each patch/expansion pack." << this i did not know was an issue or a must do, needs to be made more publicly visible even as a message in game itself. but thanks for all the responses/replies (Merged together now)
