I’m trying to load my household but it just takes me right back to neighborhood screen. When I press it again it crashes, I’ve tried recovering saves and copying saves and nothing works. I’m not making a brand new save file if it means losing the entire history and story do my sims. I don’t know how to fix it or find the issue with the game. All folder are where they belong, nothing is move I repaired the game and everything. I really don’t want to lose this save file.
So, none of my households will load, I tried another household after restarting my game and it took me right back to the menu, I pressed another household and my game completely crashed….
im having this same problem and ive uninstalled.the game and mods and its still wont load my household
People are saying repair the game, but I’m seeing that repairing the game doesn’t work either and any other solution just takes way too long and could easily end up * up my game even further. If it doesn’t work after repairing the game, I’m honestly never gonna play this game ever again that’s completely unnecessary.
Update: I tried updating my mods, removing mods I no longer use or don’t show up in my game, I’ve repaired my game, and did that long * 50/50 method (I put 100 files in at a time and never put any of my mods in when testing the game) and my game is still broken. If this is the new update that they’re supposed to be live streaming tomorrow, then they can keep it because I can’t even play my game outside of build mode and create a sim. That’s not a game. And I’ve been doing this for two hours
The website won’t allow me to send you a private message, it says I’ve reached the limit for number of private messages that I can send, but I never sent a private message on this website ever in my life. So would it be better to attach it in this thread?

EDIT: The good news that I have no issues loading your save game so it shouldn't be corrupt. .. now to figure out why it doesn't load for you.
Have you tried a factory reset yet ?
Renaming your user folder, the game will create a new one, test if a new save works there (all your content will be removed), then copy over your save from the renamed folder to the new game folder to see if it works that way ?

Is there a shorter process for this cause this takes way too long (I’m doing it now) and I’ve already said I’ve done the 50/50 method, this literally is just a longer version of that. Like would it just be better to delete the game cause my mod conflict scanned all my mods and can’t even find the issue with which mod is conflicting
