How can I make sure the CC/Mods I downloaded don't break after a patch?

Mods & CC are destined to break after major game updates, which is one downside of using them. If you want to avoid this, create a folder on your desktop, move all mods, and CC to that folder, update the game, go into the game, and click "allow mods", then move all mods and CC back to your mod folder. When you start up the game the mods and CC should be good. I'm not sure how often you check for mod updates, but be sure to check on that later today or sometime this week.
