I don't believe that is actually possible.
Hrm... actually perhaps it is, but it depends if you want a complete override. I see plenty of mods that will change the background of the menu and there are some that seem to take away the "recently played" household. If you want one that simply removes that but keeps the current background, I haven't seen one yet. - mekelley255 months agoSeasoned Adventurer
You'll have to download a main menu override that does this. There's several out there.
