how to transfer custom content

I recently moved from an old laptop to a desktop PC. I downloaded the EA app on the desktop and downloaded both the Sims 3 and the Sims 4. In the Electronic Arts folder there is no longer files that are dedicated to either of the sims games. Now there is a folder that says EA Games and has the game files there. I have tried to transfer my custom content and my saved games to the folders but nothing is working. Where do my saves and mods files go now?

  • @kreatora I tired that. I end up reinstalling the game and then doing this and it finally popped up. Thank you guys.

  • @jpkarlsen The location I'm familiar with doesn't exist anymore. That's why I'm posting about it. My whole file system changed and split into 2 different files. Nothing looks the same therefore I don't know where my files should go.

The mods folder will be where it always is - Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims4.
However, for this folder to be created there, you must at least run the game for the first time.
