I cannot add on mods/CCs After the game update sim4

So because of the annoying sim4 new game pack update it has Once again ruined my gameplay where I would constantly crashed or my sims would lag. I have done the Reset step where I remove my sim4 files from the EA file on Document. I’m able to play the game now however whenever I would add in my CCs or my Mods the game would be stuck on the loading screens. I have test it separately where I would add on one of my mods or one of my CCs and still neither has worked. I doubt the CCs are a problem for why the game cannot lag, they are only use to dress my sims. But for the mods, they are up to date so I’m confuse on why whenever I try to add them back on the mod file, my game would crash midway through the sim loading screen.
