I cannot click on my sims or make them interact with other sims

@China2Crazy This is commonly caused by not having complex mods properly installed. For any mod you have that has many parts, go check the creator's instructions carefully. You can also check if any of your mods are known to be broken or to have updates in the Broken/Updated Mods & CC lists.

Okay so I was having this issue and I just now fixed it. I deleted all of adeepindigo and lumpinou mods, and my custom sims  4 loading screen. I also deleted Mikos eye presents no1 and more columns mod. I think it was the more columns/eye presets/ custom loading screen. Let me know if that works. 

@mxganrxse More Columns is fine and can't cause this. Eye presets can't either, and neither can loading screens.

For the adeepindigo and Lumpinou mods, redownload them and read the installation instructions carefully to make sure you have all the mods that those ones depend on.

i started having this issue this month and was able to fix it by having the affected sim travel to another lot and then go home again. at which point it was solved, just wanted to let people know in case they're searching for a solution like i was. just to be clear, my sim was unable to click on other male sims (both household members/relatives and male npcs), only female sims of any age.

he was also unable to click on himself (after clicking on him, the cursor would change and the game would stutter briefly as if it was loading the pie menu but then it would never pop up and the cursor would return to normal as if i never clicked on anything). other male sims could click on him though. very strange issue and idk what causes it but I'm just glad i was able to fix it without deleting any mods. i hope this helps someone
