I can't access the top of the mountain on snowy escape

I downloaded snowy escape and have access to new map, clothes, and furniture. However, when I can't select the top of the mountain, so I can't go skiing, or anything. When I hover over the mountain top it turns a light yellow but when I click nothing happens. If anyone could help that would be much appreciated!!!
