I cant control my sims anymore

Hello. I'm not even sure how to describe my problem, so I included a screenshot. Basically, I had a problem where one of my sims I was unable to control after downloading a mod (I deleted the mod along with a few others after this problem occurred) Specifically, it was mccc that started this. I attempted a few fixes, such as deleting the sim that I couldn't control, and now it looks like this for the other two in the household. I'm not sure what to do now. Is this fixable? or is my game corrupted? I thought about deleting the sims and reinstalling maybe?

Basically, I cant see their emotions anymore ant not even their icon will show up with their face. It's weird because the game runs really well still? (Hopefully the image attached)

    @enjiland 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    @enjiland MCCC won't cause this if your game is properly up to date. It will cause this if it isn't. A Game Repair through the EA App, so that EA properly updates all your game files, including all packs, can help.

    The other cause of this error (other than being out of sync between mods and game version and needing EA to recheck game files) is when complex mods aren't properly installed - parts are missing. This is more common for complex mods like adeepindigo's where people sometimes don't get all the additional parts they're supposed to.
