I'm just trying to play the sims 4 and for some reason my game won't save and I can't edit my lot. It says that the games needs to be loaded in but it's fully loaded in. I deleted some mods and my cache and it still doesn't work. What do I do?
Hi @rrxnis0cks. Try copying your Saves folder to your desktop (for backup), then drag the whole Mods folder to the desktop and delete the localthumbcache file. Is that save now saveable or editable?
I don't know why you chose to include a picture where you have removed the only part that could have told us something about your household.
Please post screenshots of the error message you get in build/buy when you try to edit your apartment
that's the thing, there is no error message. I just simply can't edit the lot or save my game.

It might be your save, not your game. Can you edit other lots? Can you save a New game? If you load an earlier version of that save from the main menu, can you save?

HI @Lolareck There can be multiple causes of this, so let's rule out a common one first: Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)
I made other save files and nothing has worked.
