I can't write in Sims 4? I don't have any mods why?

I can't write in my cheat chat and I did it as recently as yesterday. I don't have any mods so I don't know what the problem could be? And I tried to search for an object in the build log and nothing happened?

@PidgeRovert Can you not open the cheat console or does nothing appear if type ?

Do key-shortcuts work ?

Anyone having a problem with Snb financial center ?
