@amynabailey You may need to remove broken mods, not just update updated ones. See Broken/Updated Mods & CC and 50-50

Sims are not dying in Neighborhood Stories
All the events are turned on, including deaths, but NPC’s are dying only from an old age. Also they are making and adopting babies, they are adopting animals, so I have a problem with overpopulation....
