I need help getting my game to work.

I’m reaching out because I’m unable to launch The Sims 4 on my PC. Every time I try to open the game, I get an error message saying the game is already running, even though it isn’t. I have mods and cc.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

1. Closed all related processes in the Task Manager.
2. Restarted my computer multiple times.
3. Cleared the EA App cache.
4. Checked for updates for both the game and the EA App.
5. Ran a system file check (sfc /scannow) and ensured my operating system is up-to-date.
6. Even reinstalled the EA App, but the issue persists.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the problem. I suspect it may be an account or launcher-related issue. Could you please help me in resolving this? it is so annoying.
