Improved Relationship - Parenthood system for other relationships

I made this mod for myself, too.. and I've been using it for some time, now.

What this mod does is very simple, it adds buffs to other relationships in game based on proximity, the same way Parenthood adds a buff if a sim has a good or bad relationship with the family... so, now, for example, two Sims who have the "bad romance" relationship (or similar) will feel like this around each other:

but they will feel different if the relationship starts working again...

and if they manage to make it works... they will feel...

This works for every non family relationship in game, so for example your sim will feel the butterflies around their lovebird (if they don't have "a past" together:

Happy with their soulmate, confident around their best friend, angry around their enemies, sad around someone who left them at the altar etc...

    I am enjoying it too! And Siliclone other mods are excellent! I put in more cheating component to the improved realsionships and the heh several others~

    I always wait a week or two after a patch drops and just play "offline" I get toooo attached to my game improving mods x3


    I messed that up this past patch. I made a copy of my games folder and the saves, too, just to be certain. But, I forgot one major element. I forgot to go offline. :open_mouth: I ended up patching with my Mods folder carefully pulled onto my desktop. Then got the word that MCCC was good to go. There was a hotfix, if memory serves for RTF to remove the Last Exception. I talked with the creator of the Improved Relationships and it was good to go, too. I played with those three installed and then added back one at a time, Private Practice and Meaningful Relationships. So far, so good.

    Hi, I been having troubles with trying to get the improved relationship mod to work . Do you need a second mod ?

    Nope, but you need to have script mods enabled.

    Did you know that you can disable automatic updates? Open Origin, choose Origin from the menu at the top left of the screen, open application and you should see a toggle for automatic updates.


    Yes, that part was already done and still is turned off. But, it wouldn't allow me to access my game until I updated. Bonxie is very good at giving us all the heads-up and what we need to do if we intend to continue playing with our mods, until they are updated, too. I just forgot that all-important, set it to offline, bit. :open_mouth:
