Infant and Child Sims broken

basically the other day i realised that townies that were children had they head floating above them, which was very creepy. It wasnt every child i saw but majority of them looked like this (the first photo).

now my sim has just had twin girls and ive aged them up into infant, the glitch has happened to them but even worse looking (photo 2). 

Ive been into CAS and removed everything that these sims are wearing to see if its a item but everything still stays the same...

I DO have CC and MODS in my game however everything is extremely up to date as everything in my game is only things I have downloaded in the past 2 weeks. Also i have CC disabled for random sims, therefore the children townies that look like this should not be affected by CC.

I do also have every pack so i am thinking maybe its a bug related to the new pack??

Any help would be much appreciated as i cant play with my infant until this is fixed

    HI! so after looking through reddit, many said the cause of this bug is the No EA eyelashes mod by Kijiko. And more specifically the issue was batch fixing this cc in Sims 4 Studio (which i did do to disallow cc for random). Previously when i removed mods from my game the glitch did not fix, which i dont understand? but ive now completed deleted the file and everything seems to be back to normal again!!

    Hi bettybowditch​ 

    Try the following

    - Close the game
    - Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    - Repair the game
    - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    - Start a new save game
    - Check if you still have the error
    - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    Hi so ive done this and found that the issue is still there, however the issue is no longer happening on the infants, but it is still happening to toddlers and children. this is what they look like:

    Did you put anything back yet ?

    Are you playing on Mac or PC ? Steam/Epic/EA App

    hi yes i’ve put my game stuff back in but can take it out again if need to try something.

    im playing on PC via EA app

    Did it also not work without putting stuff back ? Like on a fresh folder/new save ?

    yep didnt work with that either, sometimes with a new save one of the age ranges will not have the glitch but atleast 2 of the ages always have it

    I don't really know what you have to do to get the Sims back to normal if the are bugged out by the eyelashes. Thought removing the mod would be enough. Maybe you have to edit the Sim in CAS though

    i just deleted the mod and reinstalled it, went into CAS and they were back to normal
