infant keeps waking up after falling asleep

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.397.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, all game packs (except werewolves, vampires, and batuu), all stuff packs (except my first pet).
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Put the infant to sleep in a crib or have the infant try to go night night.
What happens when the bug occurs? The infant will fall asleep, but after only a couple seconds will wake back up again, even if energy is at it's lowest.
What do you expect to see? The infant will fall asleep and stay asleep until energy is full/it wakes up with one of the moodlets.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I had the parent sim travel with the infant to the recreation center and until that point there was no issues, and in fact the infant slept in the baby carrier without the bug. Eventually I sent the infant to daycare because I wanted to do some further travel with the parent sim and she kept taking the baby out of the carrier, and it was after they were both home again that the bug happened. Resetting the infant or crib didn't do anything, and I believe that none of my cc would truly be a problem, just that the new expansion has some bugs to work out.

    @Lana_seas All issues in the bug forum must be tested on a vanilla game.

    Moving this to game issues for now until verified on a game with no mods/cc (by either yourself or someone else).

    To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.

    - localthumbcache
    - Any lastException Files
    - Any LastCrash files.

    Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back. Also try replacing the crib and check if there's any noise sources in the room.

    This happened to me too! But I exited out of the game and repaired it in the EA app and now my baby can sleep. Hope this helps!

    I am having this issue as well.  Traveled to a different lot and baby was not able to sleep in carrier while on the lot. Upon arrival home baby would also not sleep in crib. Bar is fully red. Trying to repair game.  Hopefully that helps.

    @GemH Do you also have no CC at all? Both can cause this. If you have anything other than the resource.cfg file in your Mods folder, please do a vanilla test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
