Infant
So whenever my sim goes to pick up their infant whether it’s in the crib or on the floor my infant stands up like a toddler would while reaching for the sim, is this normal? can I fix it?

Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? If so, have you tried removing those ?
Try removing everything and see if it then works.
