Hey, I have the problem of infinite loading. This had never happened to me before. I went to open my favorite household and it simply wouldn't open, no matter how many hours passed it wouldn't leave loading screen. Yes, I play with script mod and CC (17gb of content). I removed all mods and all CC and still the household doesn't open (I tried opening other houses and lots and they all work, in the same save). I also try deleting the Sims folder, as suggested in another post and it didn't work either. The same thing happened with an old backup (I try different backups), the household I want to open doesn't open, leaving it in infinite loading. Can anyone help me, please? I am desperate. It's my favorite house and I was stupid and never saved the house at the library, I never thought something like that could happen. I'm sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language. I hope you can understand and can help me ❤️

@CaseyLynch7 Those LEs only show you have a loading issue, not the cause. You'll need to do a 50-50 of your mods to identify a cause.

@CaseyLynch7 There can be many causes to not being able to load a household, but they aren't all mod-related. If you do do a vanilla test, can you load the household? Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

@CaseyLynch7 Yes, please do send the MCCC report. If you have a Better Exceptions report as well, that would be great. You can Zip those up or give me a link to a file. I'll try to get to it this evening, but no promised. Friday calls!

Okay, ready? In that MCCC report, click on "Tuning Mods". It will take a while to go through, but it shows some duplicates (look for the red in the right-hand columns) for you to delete. This might be why you have issues when *all* mods are in but not when just *some* are in, depending on what's in each batch. The report here has an issue, it seems with age progress, though, so hopefully some of this helps fix it too: I'm not sure whose mod is [KS] No_Occluders, but it's from 2020, which is really old for a no-occluders mod. You might want to find a newer one. You also have ApplianceOccluderOverride from 2020, and that might conflict with the [KS] one. Update the adeepindigo/ItsKatato Preteen Mod. There's a new version as of February 2024. And delete the older ItsKatato version - you want *only* the current files. Check if the ATS4 muffin maker and toaster have updates since 2019 and 2021. Update Basemental's Venue List I've seen reports that the icemunmun candy dispenser might be broken, but your candy dispenser file doesn't say who's it is. Khitsule's Pointy Ears are broken. Someone's posted an update in the comments on Mod the Sims, last page Update MizoreYukii/ItsKatato Shear Brilliance. It was updated in April 2024. Check all your PandaSama and RVSN (Ravasheen) mods for more recent versions. Update the Rex Rice Cooker I think there are some updates for some of your TheKalino mods. Check for those. Update Srsly's Purchase Custom Animals

@CaseyLynch7 This is looking a lot like game corruption. Could you test again with only Better Exceptions installed? Make sure to delete the localthumbcache file.

@CaseyLynch7 Could you test if the family loads when you place them on a different lot and if a different family works on that lot.

This is to determine if it's the lot or the household causing issues.

Hi, I removed the family from the lot and managed to open the family normally in another lot. When I tried to add another family to the lot, it didn't open, it kept infinite loading . The same thing happened when I tried opening the house without any family ☹️
I managed to open the house without mod and CC. I did the 50/50 and saw that there were two broken CC, I removed them in my game. But when I tried to open the house with the rest of the mod and CC, the infinite loading happened again.. True is, I can't play without my mods, I just can't. Can you help me? Would it be possible for me to save the house without opening it? In the library. @crinrict

@CaseyLynch7 Since yours is caused my mods/cc, I'm moving this to the mods forum.

There could be more cc that keeps it from loading. Check the stickies posts in this forum for known issues and troubleshooting guides.

Someone else will assist you further if you need more help.

Hi, I did the 50/50 and I discovered two CCs that prevented the game from loading. But I still can't load the family I want again (after returning all remaining mods and CC). So I don't know what to do ☹️ I can do it again, the 50/50. How would I know the cause? And thank you for helping me ❤️
