I`ve followed several tutorials, all giving me just about the same steps, and no matter what I try I can't get my mods/cc to show up in my game. Everything I've tried to download goes into KESU (D:) > The Sims 4 > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods and I don't see what's wrong with that. KESU (D:) is an external hard drive that I'm using because my PC doesn't have enough storage to run the game, but multiple online forums say it can run just fine on an external hard drive. I have script mods and customs content enabled, I currently have no custom content or mods or game packs installed because I am a new player ( although I do have the resource cfg file in my mods folder because I was told you need it for mods), and I have the latest update of the game. I'm just really in need of guidance because the game isn't nearly as fun without cc and mods in my opinion. Anyone that feels they can help me, please respond.
I figured it out, I'm so excited! for anyone who may have the same issue in the future : the game will run perfectly fine on an external hard drive, but you should put your electronic arts and mods folder on your computer! Thank you! <3
