inventory fishing bug

hi, ive been playing the sims for a while, and recently i've been having this bug where a sim of mine will go fishing, sell the fish, and do that for a while. eventually, however, one fish will start to bug out, and i'll try to sell it, and nothing happens. i tried gifting it. i tried resetting my sim (reset object debug.) I even tried adding a random townie to my family, removing the sim who was bugged, and clicking destroy object. nothing happened, the fish is still there. I'm lead to believe it does not exist, but it's showing in my sim's inventory that it does. Even when I catch the same fish it shows that theres two, and when i try to sell the stack, it's still there! H E L P !!! (also if it helps it's a sturgeon.)
