there's also better exceptions by twistedmexi, that can do wonders of cc collision detection - it can also detect culprits of last exceptions and duplicate mods. creates reports it opens in your browser and shows you what's a duplicate etc.
I would personally recommend manually working on your saves, tray and mods folders - with such assist tools for help.

there is sims 4mod folder tools it removes copies and can restructure your mod folder
