Is there a way to find my cas cc in the mods folder?

Is there a way to find my cas cc in the mods folder except searching and guessing the clothes names? I have clothes that I don't want anymore, but I don't know their names, so I can't find them in the mods folder. What can I do?

If you want to see what a certain CC object is in relation to its filename, the easiest way is to use Sims4Studio.

Just install it, run it, and click on "My CC" on the right side.

You'll be provided with a screen showing all your CC/Mods folders on the left side. Just browse through them and click on a CC name and it'll show you a picture of what it is. You can delete it from there, or even change some of the CC tags and re-save it.

Just be careful changing the tags if you don't know what you're doing. You can easily mess things up.

  • A less reliable method to using Sims4Studio is to copy and paste the CC’s file name into your browser and you should be able to see its image, then delete accordingly.

TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions mod has a feature to identify glitching CC that I've used for this purpose!

If you have that mod downloaded and you activate game cheats, you can shift-click on a sim wearing the CC item you are trying to find and choose the option to locate the CC in their active outfit. It will give you file pathnames for all the CC the sim is wearing. Then you can see exactly in which folder it is located and what it is named.

As long as you can find a sim wearing the item you don't want, or dress a sim in it for the purposes of tracking it down, this mod should do exactly what you need.

  • @rx01q You can also use Sims 4 Studio to just look through your CC. From the main menu, pick "My CC". The downside is you have to click through files to load what they look like.
