Issue with Script mods?

Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop.
Delete the cache files

Launch the game, and a new mods folder will be generated in the sims 4 folder.. Exit the game.
Then put your mods/cc from the old mods folder into the newly generated mods folder and test to see if the issues remain. Place the poseplayer mod straight into the mods folder without it being in any subfolder.

Tried all that. It plays for a short while and then eventually the game just becomes unplayable again. It completely freezes until I take all script mods out.

If you haven’t already done this, try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" and "custom music " folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder. Don’t put back the old mods folder. Instead, put your mods into the new mods folder.
Then test to see if the issue still remains.

Also try testing with a new fresh save game and see if the issues still occur there.

If the issues remain, and it is mainly with pose player, you may like to post about your issue with pose player on the Sims 4 Studio forums.
Try also testing with only pose player mod in your mods folder and no other items, and see if the issue remains. It may be conflicting with other cc/mods.

Nothing seems to be helping. Is anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried posting on the Sims 4 Studio forums about not being able to use pose player? They may perhaps be able to help you.

Hi rosemow, I thought I'd post as I'm having the same trouble Sims4DisneyStuff is having, only it's with mods from people I have used for years, suddenly the mods have stopped showing up in my game. I followed your directions above about resetting Sims 4 folder and it did not work. I took out all mods with the exception of the work from home cc career mods I used before and the resource file and it still does not work in game. I figured out, the patch before GF is the one that broke all of coolspear's, and icemunmun's mods. I guess I'll have to get used to doing without. :(

Most of those mods have been updated since then. Grab the new versions.

Are the mods still not working after you have installed the updated versions? Are any of your mods working?

Hi rosemow, just those I listed are the ones that are not working. I have LittleMsSams mods, Leniad's harvestables and receipes, these are the ones I have the most of and they all show up. Leniad works in conjunction with icemunmun in a group called TheFoodGroup which also includes graycurse's mods, which I have and show up. Just those I mentioned don't show up. It's a true mystery to me, lol. Thanks for you time. <3
