@Celticrose67 Let's try a clean folder:
- Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
- Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
- Start with New to test if your issue recurs.
If that works,
- Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
- Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test.
If that works,
- Copy your old Tray files (this is your Library), Screenshots and Videos files.
- To test mods, copy the files into the new folder *in batches* with any mods they depend on (injectors and core mods, for example). Don't copy your old resource.cfg file. If you delete any mods from the new folder, delete localthumbcache. Check the instructions on 50-50 testing here: 50-50

Hi
Thank you so much for getting back to me.
My 3 mods plus custom content are all updated.
Can you tell me what the Options is that I'm going to reset? Sorry if I'm being daft lol.
I'm in work at the moment so can't do anything sim related until my day off on Thursday.
Thank you again
Lin

@Celticrose67 After you start the game, it will behave as it it's completely new, so anything you've customized in Main Menu > Options will need resetting.
