I don't think it's a gameplay mod that's doing it. It's probably a broken CC CAS item. It could be almost anything you have for CAS. So, you will need to hunt down whatever it is and remove or update it. Depending on how much CC you have, the 50/50 method is probably the easiest. Or you can look at things one at the time. You could also use Sims 4 Studio (S4S) to look at your CC without having the game running too. If you don't have it already, you can find a link to it in this thread:

Just scroll down a bit and you'll find a link to the S4S site where you can download it. I use it all the time to troubleshoot issues with the CC I have, and you can fix a lot of things too.
