@Trismagistos I have everything upgraded to be energy efficient if it is an option (I refuse to do the fuel one because it takes way too much energy to be constantly be filling the fuel source). I also have auto-lights on, so if she isn't in rooms the lights aren't on. All the solar panels are on the roof, not on the ground (she lives partially over the ocean). I always try to use products that are green or close to green. I am basically using the same house that I use for a lot of my college sims so that they don't spend a whole lot of money on their utilities/bills, but for some reason this time around things are different. Same appliances, same upgrades, same size of house, yet this game is acting like none of these upgrades and none of my tech exists.
