"Item is corrupted, would you like to remove it?"

I can't seem to load certain households from my library. The older the household is, the more likelihood that the gallery tells me it's corrupted. What is causing this & how can I recover these house...

Hi I just had this issue too and realized it was caused by my use of a cloud save system for my documents! If you save any files into the cloud, go to your tray folder and make sure all the files are downloaded onto your computer and not merely stored in the cloud. this completely solved the issue for me.

@zelleyzey You'll want to follow up by making sure Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 is exempted from your cloud save software, too.
