Komorebi school uniform changes every day, help!

Have you found a way to keep the school uniforms consistent? I tried sims.edit_career_outfit_in_cas but it didn't stick with the teens and it doesn't work with children at all because the game will not let you save the changes because it suddenly thinks the child is the only sim in a household.

And for the love of everything that is holy, why can't my sims who wear glasses wear them in school? I wouldn't have seen anything in class without my glasses. I'd like to add glasses to my sims' school outfits too.

Why have school uniforms if they're different each day? You can't switch schools every day.
