I can't tell much of anything from what you posted. How about providing a bit of context. When does the game crash? Is it at start up, when you try to go to CAS, when you try to enter a lot? Etc.
If I am reading the last bit properly, it appears you play with mods. Have you tried playing in a mod free save to see if it happens there? Tbh, mods have been known to cause crashing and most crashes are mod caused. So, if you do play with mods and CC, you need to test all you have to find the problem file.
Hope this helps.
I apologize if this is a long explanation but I do use mods and cc, I figured it was one of the two if not both so I took out all the object cc I wasn’t using yesterday which happened to make my game run a lot smoother but about an hour and a half in it crashed. I repaired my game and I tried to update all my mods that needed updating so I figured it was the cc mostly. The crashing all seems to happen at different times, the past four times, the first time I was trying to put a lot from the gallery down and it kept crashing during that process so I ended up using a different lot which happened to work bc I figured that other one was bugged. Then on the lot I put down I was trying to copy and paste a tray sim to another sim and it crashed while doing that but when I tried again it was fine. The last time BEFORE I took out a bunch of cc, my sim was going to bed and it crashed it kind of lagged before she got in bc the time speeds up when everyone is sleeping and it crashed. Then AFTER I removed some cc it ran very smoothly for about an hour and a half and it crashed right after I asked my toddler to put in her hearing aids using the BG Health System I believe. From all the crashing I did try to play a vanilla game and it completely worked fine nothing happened so I know it’s something in my mods folder, I just don’t know what. Using the 50/50 method would take a long time bc I don’t necessarily know what’s causing crashes bc what part crashed before usually doesn’t crash again “except me trying to put down that first lot”. Like all the things that was happening while it crashed I did end up trying to do again and it worked so that’s what’s makes it difficult. I’m willing to take out what I need to get my game to run better.

@star_0830 Unfortunately, 50-50 is your best bet for finding your issue. It's also an opportunity to look for duplicate files.
Have you tested with no mods at all? Do this by dragging the Mods folder to your desktop and deleting the localthumbcache file.

I know you really don't want to spend the time and effort to go through all your mods and CC but if you want the random crashing to stop, you are going to have to do it. As @luthienrising said, the 50/50 method is a good way and probably the easiest and fastest to find a problem file. That should help a lot, and at least stop most of the crashing.
But I suggest you go through everything you have file by file when you have the chance. You can use Sims4Studio to look at every CC item you have one by one. If you have a lot of CC, build or CAS, I will bet that you find quite a few files than don't work and probably some that don't even show up in the game. I found several hundred files like that. And in the process, going through everything will give you the chance to get rid of stuff you downloaded and then never used or used maybe once or twice. I mean as an example for something like hoop earrings, how many do you really need? I had a dozen and now I only have one - there were lots of other things like that where I got rid of what are basically duplicates. Doing that cut my CC down by two thirds where I only have those things that I use often in my mods folder. You already mentioned this, but getting rid of CC will speed loading the game, accessing the build/buy catalog and CAS run smoother and faster as well as the game running smoother. Getting rid of broken files will probably also fix a couple of issues you might have. Again, it did for me. So, consider going through everything individually. It'll take time and effort but, in the end, it'll be worth it.
Hope this helps.

I ended up doing a couple different things,
- I did end up doing a vanilla test and things were just fine which led me into making changes in my mods folder.
- I ultimately decided to only really keep the stuff I actually use in build/buy and CAS.
- I used tray importer to find all the files I used in those folders and mod manager to make sure.
- I moved all the stuff I currently wasn't using out of my mods folder and to my desktop just in case.
- Then I actually ended up basically doing 50/50 so I can run better exceptions faster since it takes a long time for it to scan with all my stuff in my mods folder.
- So I took everything out and put in a couple of mods at a time.
- I ran the patch compatibility and it ended up telling me that i had like 3 mods that were incompatible so I took them out:
- Mercuryfoam: Ballroom Dance Mod
- Mercuryfoam: Lie on Lap
- SimRealist: SimNationalBank *I did see where this wasn't updated, I was just hoping it wouldn't do anything too crazy*
- Those were the only mods I have that really said there was something wrong with them.
- I also got rid of the duplicates in the folders I did keep.
Although, I'm still currently in the process of making sure everything is fine.
I'm sorry y'all if I seemed like I was being complicated! Thanks for the help<3

@star_0830 Those Mercuryfoam mods have often been broken and the creator is no longer active. I suspect they've become broken at some point and not been reported anywhere. I'll add them to my "to test" list, but with all the malware stuff going on right now and needing to sort out how to adapt my mod-update checking process, it'll be a while before I get back to that test list.
Thank you for coming back with the info! And I'm glad you ended up finding things like duplicates.
