Just starting having this LE when I cheated a diploma for my scenario sim from MCCC. Just made my game onto another person's save file which is full of townies with degrees. Soo.. do I have any hope to save my game? Does anyone else still experience this?
@SamanthaSunny There is, unfortunately, a strong chance that some Sims in that save had degree cheats used on them; this could be the case for Gallery Sims you've used as well. If you can figure out which Sims they are (as well as your own), either you can try either deleting those Sims and clearing all cache or you can try enrolling them through gameplay in university and either play through or drop out. Charitycodes has a mod on CF for the degree tracker error that might help with some causes; I've not looked into the fix or how it works.
@luthienrising Thank you for answering. I tried the degree tracker mod, but it's not working, probably needs updating. I haven't seen any problems with my save, so I'm not gonna delete it or delete my sim, I've been done so much work for this save... MCCC notification pops up every time I travel, but that is the only annoying thing for now. If something else happens, I let you know. For those who are worried about the LE giving problems, I haven't seen any problems with my game so far
@SamanthaSunny Thanks for that info! The creator wasn't sure the mod would work on all causes, so I'm not going to actually report any issues with it. I'd be interested in knowing later if this exception goes away at some point for that Sim, since it's not cheat-caused.
