LE Cottage Living - bugged fertilizer?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I try to make my Sim fertilize her oversized crops in the backyard (with the hassle-free fertilizer, it's the only kind I use), but I keep getting a Last-Exception error. The people at Sims After Dark (the Discord server) said to report this odd LE here because I've tried every single bugfix they've suggested, but the bug just won't go away. It's happened repeatedly in every saved game I've played since I bought and installed the Cottage Living expansion pack. I didn't even realize it had anything to do with fertilizer at all... but the helpers at Sims After Dark keep telling me my Sim has bugged oversized crop fertilizer, and that I need to delete it, and also, to delete the oversized crops that I keep trying to fertilize with it. But I've done this before with no change; I still get the LE! One helper recommended that I install a small additional mod with a fix for this bug, but the new mod didn't help, either. At the same helper's suggestion, I even tried repairing my game via Origin (after backing up my The Sims 4 folder), and the results were no better. I am so frustrated right now... Nothing, and I mean NOTHING has worked. Please, somebody, help me! I just want to get back to playing my saved game. Help! Please?

For some reason, when I try to upload the LE file, I get an error message saying "Unsupported extension type." Um, okayy...
