@rhrhmm After you removed the mods, did you also delete localthumbcache? Also, if this involved Reshade or Gshade, you will need to consult with those programs' own support about how to fully remove them.

Hi! Thanks for your reply 🙂
So I forgot to delete my localthumbcache file, it seemed like it contribute to the crashing. But I am not entirely sure as I played the game for a while (using the Build/Buy mode as I was decorating my house) then I minimized the game window (I keep the screen of the game in window mode as I heard it improves the performance of the game) and I did some work on my laptop, there was no problem with minimizing and going back to the game but then I left it minimized for a while and came back but then it crashed. I am not sure if the same issue persists or is it just because I keep minimizing the game's window.
And no I don't have Reshade or GShade as they make my game very slow, sadly ☹️

@rhrhmm Do you get crashing if you recreate the Mods folder?
Move Mods to the desktop and rename it. Delete localthumbcache again. See if you still get a problem mod-free. You can "save as" your save so you have an easy-to-find backup with all your CC/mods etc. intact.

I tried again as I thought it was due to minimizing the game for a long time, however, that's not the case as I kept playing for a while but no use.
