Locating outdated Mod help

Is there any way to replace or even locate an outdated mod that is NOT in my mod's folder? 

I have previously posted on here about a problem I'm having with neighborhood stories  (since the 2023 update) and I believe I've worked out it's related to an old mod I have installed, which is a CHEAT/DEBUG mod (possibly from Clown at MTS) It allows you to press shift and left click on a Sim to access Give Bucks, Cheat Need, Modify in Cas, Kill Add/remove from Family etc. It works in my game without error messages BUT if i go to a new game from the main menu, it doesn't show up for any Sims in there, so I know it's a problem. I have deleted all mods in the Mod folder and I've bulldozed any houses I've downloaded from the gallery etc. I've tried all the usual things and the only difference between my regular game and the new game is that mod! I want to ideally delete it but I can't locate it. Is there anything else I can try or does anyone else know where on Earth it would have saved or if there is a way to delete or disable it?

    @them1dn1ghtfa3ry Your best bet would be to contact the creator of the mod and ask how to remove it, if at all possible. Read a bit about it and it seems a bit invasive. I found him here and he seems to be active. Snip

    Hello, them1dn1ghtfa3ry! May I know what your game is specifically? If you've already deleted the mods but still can't locate it, you can try uninstalling it completely and then reinstalling the mod at another site like techloky,... I found it on social media now, there are many websites that provide mods. You can break the rules and try to discover something new.

    @BylineBelife Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately the link has been removed but I'll have a poke around and see what I can find. I didn't think of asking the creator how to delete it, as most suggestions only say you need an update or remove from Mods folder and neither of those are options.

    @JovanDillard I'm unsure what you mean by what my game is specifically?The mod isn't showing up on a New Game so my next option might be to save all my lots and households to the library, start a new game and add them all in. I might try that before uninstalling completely. thanks for the reply.
