I put six-packs in my sims inventory and she still drinks them. ALL THE TIME! non stop.
I've been lucky on that :) but then lots of books are constantly spawning from my sim's inventory. The moment he doesn't have anything queued he starts reading. All the time! There are a lot of bugs that need to be fixed.
