lost all my cc

I moved my Mods folder to the desktop and it's empty! 😢

I reinstalled Sims 4 due to a corrupted Mod, that Sims said was corrupted to not let the game launch. I deleted the mod from the folder, reinstalled Sims 4, and moved my Mods folder to the desktop. After clicking on "Play" in Origin to launch the game, I got a message about that same mod that corrupted the game (that I deleted) saying it needs to be removed... But, my Mods folder is empty 💔
