Loyal trait seems to be doing the opposite

So this new trait. I chose it for my sim AND her wife, because I want them to be committed to eachother and not flirting with anyone else. My sim is a home decorator and she just randomly was kissing the client ffs. I don’t remember this ever happening before that trait. Before they would flirt but I don’t remember seeing them actually kissing someone else unless I physically chose that interaction. Now her wife (with the jealous trait) is losing her mind and my kids are sad and I feel like my life is about to end lmao what do I do to prevent this *
