Main Menu not updating

The home menu is only showing what I assume is default "tutorial" information, such as "Steps 1-3" and showing the "Cats & Dogs" and "Seasons" expansion packs.

Prior to this it was able to show game updates and other recent events.

Is there any way to fix this issue?

Problem started to happen after removing the mod folder.

UPDATE: seems the recent update may have fixed the issue

Programs can be so weird sometimes...

    @M_Setter Could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing ? Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing mods/cc ?
