Meditative walk not working?
Hey all, just came here to check if anyone else has a problem performing "meditative walk" in Mt. Komorebi? My Sim moved there, and I tried to perform it now multiple times, but the action disappea...

You are not alone. It hasn't always been that way but it certainly appears to be happening recently. I think it started with one of the patches but I'm not exactly sure when it did start happening in my game.
I mostly go to Mt K on daytrips. I haven't done a multi-day vacation or played a household living there. I used to be able to queue the same option after a sim got back to the sign but that is no longer the case. What I am seeing is that all the hiking options do what you describe after you do an option the first time. For me it's not just the Meditative Walk, it's all of them. You can't repeat any of them on a single trip to Mt. K. The action shows in the queue initially but as soon as the sim reaches the sign, the action disappears.
But if you travel out to another world and come back later, you can do them again but only once each time you travel in. I'm not sure if that will work between zones in Mt. K as I haven't tried it, but it should.

- @CGrant56 Thanks for this! I will try what you suggest. Some time after this post I noticed that some other hiking options do the same thing, even though before the post I could do them (probably what happened is what you described).
Do you know if it has been reported as a bug? If not I can make a bug report 😊You're welcome! I haven't seen a bug report for this particular issue before nor did I find one when I searched for it just now, so if you want to make one, please do. There are other posts involving hiking but none that I looked at are about this specific issue. I will me too your bug report as well once you make it.
- @CGrant56 just a quick question - is meditative walk suppose to differ from other hiking routes/choices? When I choose meditative walk and it works, the icon is the same shoe like for hiking and the action is also "hike". The route is basically around, the place. Also even if it is supposed to be a meditative walk, my Sim had an emotion of "terrible hike" 😅🤣
