Menu button bug / glitch

Sims 4: My menu buttons have the incorrect signs. My "skills" have the notebook image, my "relationships" have the calendar image, and my "inventory" is just a triangle. Those are just a few, but ALL the menu symbols are wrong. During events and work, I cannot see the menu in the top left. The symbols are all glitched. In the simology menu, nothing appears, and the genealogy is a greyed-out square that I cannot click on so I cannot see their family tree. I've reset my laptop, uninstalled the Sims game, and uninstalled the EA app. I've also used the "repair" option in the EA app for the Sims, but nothing has cleared this up. I've tried to find an EA Help contact, but I cannot find an email or number. I've tried starting a case but spent four hours on the site being sent in a loop of scrolling through articles. I was not given the option to start a case. The AI chat wasn't helpful either. Please help
