You are right. I may have been looking at the wrong (milestones) one. I have since played a sim that has it showing correctly in the Aspirations panel. Thanks again.
I also have run into this. I am not using any gameplay or UI mods, but I do have CAS and build/buy CC. I also play rotationally. My current household is an adult couple with two infants. The mother got a mid-life crisis, and her task list appeared correctly in the aspiration panel. The father did not have a mid-life crisis at that point. I then rotated away and played three other households for a total of three Sim weeks. When I returned to this household, the father now had the moodlet for a mid-life crisis, but no task list in his aspiration panel. Perhaps the issue was caused by him gaining the mid-life crisis while I was playing other households. I exited and reloaded the game, but his task list still does not show.

I've the same issue and I'm a rotational player too. The issue affects multiple sims and appeard sometime during this fall, but I don't know after which patch (or game added). I've all packs and kit, except Bantuu.
