I'm keep getting the sitting up milestones over and over yet I can't use the highchair or the milestones is not in the infants memory but it keeps going over and over that milestones is reached.
I had the exact same problem! I fixed it by exiting the game and clearing the cache in the sims 4 folder (localthumbscache.package, cache folder CONTENTS not the actual folder and spotlight.package). As soon as I started playing my infant learned to crawl and sit up, this time for real. Hope it helps 🙂
