Milestones aren't unlocking

I've split your post off into it's own thread as your issue is different from the one being tracked in the previous report.

Is it all your Sims, or just the toddlers? I’ve found the toddler milestones generally buggy, especially if they age up from infant with skills already.

I looked at that post and that is not the same issue im having. My milestones arent reverting, im just not unlocking them even though i met the criteria

A modder who made a temporary bugfix mod for that says that there may actually still be an issue. Are you playing with no mods?

I usually play with mods but when the issue happened I turned them off and resetting and gaining the levels back didnt give the milestones either. I saw someone say to cheat it back to the previous level and build it again but even when I did that the max motor skill milestone is locked
